Cappadocia University Makes Its Mark on the 16th Istanbul Biennial!

This time, our university's Environmental Humanities Center is making its mark on the 16th Istanbul Biennial with the theme “Seventh Continent”.

This time, the Cappadocia University Environmental Humanities Center is making its mark on the 16th Istanbul Biennial with the theme "Seventh Continent". French philosopher Patrick Degeorges, one of the editors of the periodical of the Center, will explain how Anthropocene age changed the contemporary thought. Degeorges, who will make one of the closing speeches of the biennial, will discuss "how humanities and art engage in" geo-story narratives" that will release the ecotopic potential of Anthropocene, in a conversation with another guest of the session, Johannes Büttner.

This session, which is one of the closing sessions of the biennial, is organized in cooperation with the Environmental and Humanities Center of Cappadocia University.
